I'm new to this tribe and I'm interested in learning Arabic
as I'm planning to travel to Arab countries as
well as delve deeper into my Islamic studies.

I am a progressive Muslim and dervish
who, while maintaining my faith and practice
have a distinctly irreverent sense of humor.

I'm pretty good at reciting stuff
and I even served as muzzine at my mosque
but I'm NOT into orthodox or fundamentalist practices.

Looking for opportunities and resources to scoot me on my way
into a functional level of fluency.
I'm not the fastest learner of language
but I'm persistant and motivated.
