i'm working on a novella and i am using the lore of the jinn pretty heavily. any comments/suggestions? my sister, who lived in egypt for about two years, has given me a fair amount of literature, but i'm always up for more input.

Mon, August 15, 2005 - 11:31 PMWell, some of them are Muslims. I'm not kidding; there are some traditions (hadeeths) about djinns coming down as birds to learn from Prophet Muhammad. They were made out of fire and we out of clay. As per the Quran, they were rather unsuccessful at space exploration (We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors...)
